In the field of locking systems, locks are becoming more and more common, which stand out due to an increased number of pins coming from different directions. Well known companies are Kaba, Goal and West to name a few and they feature 20+ pairs of pins from 4+ different directions. With conventional hook profiles you quickly reach your limits, which is why dimple picks have been the choice so far, but they only work to a limited extent. The ambitious picker was forced to build the pick completely himself.

Together with what is without question one of the best lockpickers in that field, the great Yabende , we have created a selection of picks that are specifically tailored for these locks and designed to make navigating between pins easy, yet capable of targeted manipulation. As far as we can determine, our AKAB picks are the first commercially manufactured picks for this type of lock and they are already enjoying great popularity in the community.
